You can feel like you are making a real impact on the world. Character relationships are well-developed, whether they are squabbling across verdant fields or bickering inside dim caverns. Hearing Varric and Cole argue is one of the games’ pleasures.

Inquisition has a few flaws, like the villain, which BioWare corrected with post-launch content, and the combat, which feels designed for a smaller game. But overall, it is the perfect RPG.
